Peshawar, is the capital of the province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Peshawar’s recorded history dates back to at least 539 BCE, making it the oldest city in Pakistan and one of the oldest cities in South Aria, Majority of its population is Pashtuns / Pashto speakers, and majority of the city population practice Islam, it is the sixth largest city of Pakistan.

Climate

Winter in Peshawar starts in November and ends in late March, though it sometimes extends into mid-April, while the summer months are from mid-May to mid-September.

In summer the maximum temperature surpasses 40 °C (104 °F), and the minimum temperature is 25 °C (77 °F).

In winter the minimum temperature is 4 °C (39 °F), and the maximum temperature is 18.3 °C (64.9 °F).
